at some point there is no greater or less greater band, bands are only different. phish and umphrees have reached that level. neither are better than the other, they are just different. personally i perfer phish but i love and respect both bands

come on! Moe. is every bit on the same level as phish and um! now wsp, great for their style but not in the same ballpark.

Phish is my favorite. However, I do believe that um harbors more technical talent than Phish. As a group their styles are different and aren't comparable. Phish did personally hand over the perverbial "torch" to um when the announced they were disbanding, as they felt um was the best band to carry on the tradition. Please do not bring wsp and Moe into the discussion with UM and Phish. They are quality bands, but cannot compete at the same level.

umphreys is a great great live band but to say there the best band out there is retarded. umplover say heatgen has no musical knowledge but you probably dont know what song structure is or what key jajunk is played in.....you also sound like a 15 year old UM kid and have probably never seen bands like wsp and phish and moe.

Actually, Brendan does not have the greatest voice. However, it rarely interferes with the composition. Not to mention he's a really good dude, so take your negativity elsewhere.

BTW - I really enjoyed Jake with the Macpodz playing Hello Jeff - very cool too.

First of all heatgen, you have 69 as part of your username so right away you lose all credibility. Secondly, his name is Brendan, and he can sing. And lastly, no one is forcing you to watch this. If you don't like them, you should probably go back to your usual Nickleback or whatever crap you listen to.

This band is so weak, Brandon cannot sing and there vocals are so lame. Jake can sing but man is his guitar playing is so over top, I mean please ,,, all arranged crap!!
